The Idea

Born from an idea to connect people around the importance of water and environmental stewardship. The simple idea of selling water and ice with a backstory. Curated experiences of water from around the world and the stories that brought it to life — both environmental and cultural.

02

The Collection

It turned out to be fantastically complicated to bring water from the Arctic to Southern California and keep its essence and physical composition consistent and ready for consumption. The goal took capital, and in that, the reason to share the story — to create experiences not just of sustainability but of exploration and cultivation. To go beyond the limits, but to do it with the intention to spread awareness and depth in worthy causes. The first of which became understanding the cost and value of these treasures we get to enjoy, and to truly account for the impact of the carbon required to make an amazing experience happen.

03

The Community

A community quickly grew of those who loved the idea — to share stories of water and immersive experiences to connect continents, watersheds, and humans around the single continuous body of water that connects us all.

Why This Exists

Water as a vehicle for change

The Purpose

This project exists to raise money for underfunded research projects impacted by the current political climate. Water research, climate science, watershed conservation, and environmental stewardship are under threat. We believe beauty and experience can fund what policy will not.

Revenue Structure

80%
Underfunded Research Grants for water science, climate research, and environmental projects defunded or deprioritized by current policy
10%
Project Operations Sourcing, production, experiences, storytelling, and community
10%
1% for the Planet Our commitment to environmental giving beyond the mission — because the work is never just one thing

How We Fund It

Membership

Access to the community, content, behind-the-scenes documentation, sound library, and first access to experiences. A recurring contribution that sustains the research pipeline.

Experiences

Curated, invite-only events — tasting menus, watershed journeys, studio visits. Each experience is priced to fund a specific research grant. Guests know exactly where their contribution goes.

The Promise

Every dollar is traced. Every grant is published. Every experience funds something real. We are not a nonprofit — we are a project that believes the best way to protect water is to help people fall in love with it.

Curated experiences of water

The Product

Glasses of water and ice in all their forms — sourced from remarkable places around the world. Each serving carries the story of its origin, the care of its journey, and the craft of its expression. We sell not water, but the experience of water.

The Experience

Curated, multi-course tasting menus of water. Architectural experiences for the palate — from purity and place to creative expression and formal exploration. Each course reveals a different dimension: source, temperature, minerality, form, context.

Pilot — Mt. Tam Watershed

Our inaugural experience draws from the Mt. Tam Watershed in Marin County. A five-course tasting menu of water sourced from Tam — exploring the watershed from ridge to fog to creek to glass. Intimate, invite-only gatherings in a setting worthy of the source.

Format

Invite only. Small gatherings. Each experience is unique to its source and season. Carbon-calculated. 1% for the Planet.

Support the Project

Every contribution funds water research and environmental stewardship

$25 Ripple

A small wave that carries far — helps fund field sampling kits for watershed researchers.

$50 Current

Sustain the flow — supports lab analysis for a single water source in the collection.

$100 Spring

Feed the source — funds a day of fieldwork for a climate research team.

$250 Watershed

Shape the landscape — provides a micro-grant for an underfunded environmental study.
